I can believe that Amtrak wants to do all this stuff. And if they have the Viewliners actually delivered (Won't believe it until I see it- 2012 is a long way off, and 2013 is a different administration if people keep being so stupid- the assumption that Obama's plans for the economy are not working based on a lack of instant repair is just bughouse), it might even happen.

But the dome cars? Never.

Alliance, Ohio – The team investigated complaints about a walkway that needs repair. Amtrakwill work with the city and the host railroad to resolve this issue. Amtrak also plans to install a

new enclosed shelter, ADA-compliant platform, and paved accessible parking.

If we can make a big sign reading: "Drunk idiots don't park here" and put it on the platform, then I'm happy.
