CNO Meals

Hey all,

It looks like i may be heading down to NOL with my mom for Spring break despite the fact that most of the city will be damaged, which is an understatement. We decided it would be fun to try a train that we've never done before, the City of New Orleans. Despite the fact that this would add an additional night to the trip....ehh, no problem with me....!!!

The Itinerary looks like this:

29 to Chicago and 59 to NOL

then hop on 20 for the trip home.

My question is: Is there a diner on the CNO, and what meals would likely be served on this train?

Yes there is a diner on the CNO i will be on train #58 on Jan 1st 2006 heading up to CHI.

You should get dinner out of Chicago and breakfast in the morning. I suspect that you get lunch too, but I'm not positive about that.

I think they do a short lunch period on the Southbound around 1130-12.
