The American Military uses the 24 Hour Clock, it would be easy for the US to adopt it, but if one remembers the Fit that "American Firsters" threw over adopting the Metric System, (I'm no Scientist!) it ain't gonna happen!

Amtrak has put lots of time padding into all of its LD trains. Even the CZ between Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs has at least 20 minutes of padding in the published schedule.
