Comparative reliability of Amtrak's locos

For an alleged least cooperative railroad CSX runs a heck of a lot of Amtrak trains including all eastern LD trains, each and every one of them (albeit the Crescent only between CP Virginia and CP AF), all Virginia service and all west of Albany Empire Service.

Caela150, from what I read (I am a foreigner from Australia), CSX is the least cooperative of the big rail operators towards Amtrak.

Does this extend to CSX being reluctant to supplying Amtrak with replacement loco(s) should one be required for a train or multiple trains? Or do they rip Amtrak off at a higher rate per kilometre and per day than say BNSF or UP?

They may "rip us off" as far as rates go, but believe me, they wouldn't be reluctant to give us a relief engine. If they were, we might be out there blocking their mainline for many hours, and they sure wouldn't want that!
