CS-SWC overnight connection now allowed in LAX

If you search a trip from somewhere along the Coast Starlight route to somewhere along the Southwest Chief route, an overnight connection in LAX shows up as a published route. For example SEA-KCY or even SEA-CHI. Isn't this relatively new?

It's been there for at least 1-1/2 years. I took that routing in March 2014.

Ok, I was thinking that NOL was the only published connection with an overnight layover.
