CTA Yellow Line collision

A CTA Yellow Line train ran into other CTA equipment (a snowplow) in Howard Yard today, injuring several. Tribune article

For those puzzling how an operating train with passengers ended up in the yard, the Yellow Line tracks go through the yard to get from the Yellow Line proper (ex-Skokie Swift, nee North Shore Line) to Howard terminal station. Ditto with the Purple Line.

My sheer guess is the Yellow train was where it was supposed to be but the plow wasn't. CTA's game either way.

They haven't had a good day over at the CTA today...

There was an SUV-bus collision earlier (I think four people injured)...

And a sleeping woman on the Red Line had her comfort/emotional support dog stolen (probably more to that story).
