derailment

Around 12:00 PM today a CXS frieght derailed in ohio east of Cleveland Ohio. Train going to Erie and east. Nine cars on fire. Local fire dept will let it burn out as of last report. To hot and dangerous to get close at this time. I assume that this is CXS mainline and will affect the LSL.

Pretty scary stuff when your son's school sends out a computer phonecall telling you about the derailment and possible evacuation. Luckily my son's school was not in the affected area.

Amtrak rerouted around site. Will use Nickle plate tracks east of Erie to by pass to ELYRIA OH. Erie and Cleveland pax. will be bussed to Elyria. Reverse east bound.
