Do I wait or do I call?

Last week husband and I did AKY-DYE round-trip and had to pay cash on the train each way since there are no ticketing machines at either station. We made reservations via phone and gave them our AGR numbers at the time. The conductor took our reservation number when he issued the ticket. Will the rewards for our trip show up in our account eventually, or do I need to call and make sure the trip is there? Thanks!

IIRC, the "standard" answer is "... allow 3 weeks for Amtrak travel to post ..."! So until those 3 weeks pass, AGR may say "... wait for 3 weeks at least ..." before they even look into it. However, you may find an agent who will adjust it on the spot for you!

Either way when you call AGR, have

• Your AGR number
• The dates of travel, and
• Your ticket receipt (You may be asked to mail it to them, but keep a photocopy and send it traceable)
