In MSP - there is some provision in the small "sleeper passenger waiting area" - the checkin desk gave me a code (last august) but I didn't try it.

WAS - supposedly has free wifi but it didn't work for me the one time I was there. But the Starbucks a few steps away worked fine.

Do stations in CHICAGO, DC, NYC, or other cities have free wifi?
Amtrak has free WiFi in the waiting areas in DC, NYP, and the other major stations that they own or have enough control over the main waiting areas. Amtrak lists the stations with Amtrak provided WiFi on their website here. Other stations may have free WiFi provided by the station operator or WiFi signals you can pick up from the retail outlets in the station.

On the NEC, there is free wifi at the stations in PVD, BAL and others too. At BOS, it says in the Club Acela only. However if you sit on the benches near the stairs up to the CA, you can get it in the station also! ;)
