Eastbound EB departure

Guys,

Can anyone tell me why #8, the eastbound Embire builder from Sea. seems to leave late more often than on time? How does a train leave late on a regular basis when they have all day to assemble and prep the train? Just wondering. Your thoughts are welcome.

Well assuming an ontime arrival of the westbound, they only have about 7 hours to clean the train, restock it, turn it, and get it back to the station. That's hardly all day, in fact that's not even 1/3 of a day. And again, that assumes an ontime arrival.

If the westbound is late, then there is even less time to do all of the above.
