Finding out what consist?

I ride on the Amtrak cascades all the time, but something I always wondered was if its possible to find out what consist you will be on before you get to the station? Is there any way to find this info out? I mainly want to know of I'm on the new Talgos or not. I'm taking a trip on Monday to see a couple baseball games and heading back to Portland on Wednesday.

It's really a rotation that's unpredictable. I can tell you that 510/517 have captive sets for a month IIRC.

When the new Talgos went into service a few months ago, ODOT attempted to post a schedule of what trains they would be on. That was discontinued quickly. They had to do a lot of shuffling of equipment due to technical problems with the new trains, and AFAIK, no schedule has been posted since.

No new consist on way up. It was just Mt. Hood.
