Having grown up in a railroad town, with my first Amtrak trip under my belt, and after finding this forum, I realized that some things I have always taken for granted here in my old home town might be of interest to some of you rail buffs. This has become quite the "small town attraction", and has had visitors/riders from all over the nation/world. Of special interest to some of you might be the "equipment" link that explains where the various cars came from. The dinner trains, and especially trips across the river valley to see the beautiful fall colors are very popular.

Very interesting.

I did see the movie "Biloxi Blues" so it is neat to know where the equipment came from.

That is some neat ex--Union Pacific equipment they have there, also.
