Help with reservation/cancellation please

Is it possible to cancel part of a reservation, ie NEC, and still keep my low bucket CL sleeper fare?

I don't WANT to cancel the NEC res but the person I'm meeting in BAL wants to pick me up and drop me off at WAS.

They're kind of excited about the whole thing so I don't want to hurt their feelings unless it's going to cost me even more moola

Call and tell agent you want to CHANGE rezzy, but want to preserve your original fare on CL, not an everyday thing, but DEF doable.

Believe you can, but you should call Amtrak and speak with agent to confirm you plans.

I did a similar thing when canceling a Cascades reservation but keeping my EB sleeper fare low bucket out of Portland
