How long til I get my tickets?

My girlfriends parents want me to go up to Boston for a few days in late December early January.

My Dad wants to use the AGR points he has racked up since the program began in 2000.

The big question is how long after booking the trip through AGR will it take for the tickets to arrive?

Don't have the tickets mailed. Pick them up at the station (QuikTrak) before departure.

And if it's one train (no connections) and just coach - you can even book with AGR points on line! (Otherwise, you have to call AGR.)
