Metra Commuter Service on the BNSF From Chicago Union Station to Aurora has been shutdown due to a double fatality near Union Station. The incident occurred at 4:15 CDT when an inbound express train struck the male and female. The train appeared to be running on the center main of the three. This track is used as the high speed track often bypassing stations to run express. All service in both directions has been halted and as of 6:45 CDT there is still no estimate on the time the tracks will be opened.
