Roughly 100 tickets per game went on sale 30 minutes ago... they are all sold out. :( Hopefully that means more games are added!

and to think that this route was once served by the SEMTA "Silver Streak" several times a day before they made the brilliant decision to pull the plug on that operation... <_< :(

The Red Sox and the Mass Bay Trasportation Authority (MBTA) have a similar train. Since the tracks on the Boston - Framingham line run right behind Fenway Park, and parking in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston is impossible to find even without the ball game, the MBTA built a platform down the road from the ball park and schedule trains to arrive about an hour before and leave an hour after the game.

Also, the Anaheim, CA Amtrak Station is built on the north end of the parking lot of Anaheim Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Southern California has such a car culture, and the stadium is surounded by a parking lot many times bigger than the stadium, I would be suprised to see baseball oriented train service there.
