Redeeming gift certs.

Hi All, I got some gift certs for Christmas and would like to use them for a trip to Boston and Maine. Te web site it said the certs had to be redeemed at a "staffed Amtrak Station". I live in the Chicago suburbs and want to know if there are any such stations besides going to Union Station downdown. The Naperville, Il or Joliet stations are the closest but I don't know if they can book my trip there. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks, David

Both Naperville & Joliet are staffed stations that are capable of processing your reservations during the offices that the respective ticket offices are open. For Naperville: Noon - 7:30 pm. For Joliet: 9 am to 4:30 pm, each day.

Correction the Naperville, IL Ticket Office is open til 8PM and the agent typically goes on Lunch between 12:15PM-1:00PM

Thanks for the info. I'm glad I don't have to go downtown for this. The Joliet station is the closest to so I guess I'll be making a trip there this w/e to take care of my tickets.
