San Joaquin 713 (21) hits pickup (LINK)

Thursday's #713 San Joaquin struck a pickup that was towing a personal watercraft on a trailer, per the story from today's Contra Costa Times.

Thank goodness the pickup wasn't towing a corporate watercraft. Must be as college graduate that dreams up the names for those things. And we don't wear life jackets any more - they're now, ahem, personal flotation devices! I bet that one took someone with a Master's Degree!! <End of rant>

"Jet Ski" is a registered trademark, like Jell-O, Scotch Tape and Post-It Notes. From the pictures and video, it was hard to tell what brand and model it was.

Thanks - didn't think of from that angle. I live on a good-sized lake and instead of Jet-Skis we call them "lake lice"!
