Sleeping Accommodation Refunds

Hey all,

I tried looking on the AGR website but couldn't find any information about point refunds except for "points will be refunded minus any applicable fees" if cancelled prior to departure. Does anyone know what the penalty is? Do they refund all 20,000 pts for a 2 tier roomette or do they take 10% off? Or whatever?

As of now - cancel before departure and receive full refund of points. If you neglect to cancel before departure all points forfeited.

It is the departure of the originating train, not the departure of a connecting train. If before the originating train, you receIve all points back. Just another good reason to book one way trips.

Wow thats great! I wasn't expecting a 100% refund. Time to book a possible New Orleans trip now
