There's a new promotional fare going on: Buy one get one half off on the southern legs of the Crescent (south of Atlanta) and Palmetto (south of Fayettesville, NC). Significant advance purchase requirement though: Right now it's book in February, travel in June. Says there'll be a new offer every month; presumably there'll be a new lightly-traveled route segment bookable in March to travel in July. Useful? Maybe...

Yeah...I think referring to this offer (IIRC, non-exchangeable and non-refundable as well as far in advance) "smart" is dubious at best.
