Sold-out Cardinal

51(4) coach is sold out from CIN-CHI (leaving CIN on the 5th), although one can still get a seat IND-CHI. Any odds-makers around who can speculate on the likelihood of cancellations or no-shows? Are there times where I should check in for openings?

(My backup plan would be to take the hound--not a pleasant prospect.)

50 (3) is a service disruption. Could be cancellation of 51 (4) except IND-CHI. Cardinal has not run since the 21-hour stranding at Prince on Friday night.

I'm on #50 on July 18th... and sleepers have been sold out for over 2 months now. Quite remarkable!! I know there are limited sleeper rooms on the train, but its still surprising.
