Swift Fans Smash Ridership Records for South Bay Public Transit

The VTA said it tallied close to 25,000 boardings on Friday night.

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority said it tallied close to 25,000 boardings for Taylor Swift’s kickoff Bay Area performance in the concert series, which drew something on the order of 58,000 attendees to the House of 49ers on Friday.

In any event I long for a day when VTA, BART and CALTRAIN can work together seamlessly................

VTA was really not ready, they should have been running 3 car trains from 11am till 2am at 10 min headways on the orange line but they lack the crews to do that.

I've always felt like most big concerts should play for 4-6 nights in major regions and Sac got completely skipped so you were really pulling from the entire northern part of the state.

In any event I long for a day when VTA, BART and CALTRAIN can work together seamlessly................

That requires VTA to be better and caltrain to have funding
