Turbo's to storage in Delaware yesterday

All 3 turbos departed Rennselear NY for storage in Wilmington Del.

on 9/21/04 2120hours. They were pulled by Amtrak eng 823.

Must've bypassed Penn Station, since there would've been no control for the 3rd Rail on the 823.

They actualy had pair of P40's that towed the 3 dead sets. and since they went tru Penn station late at night nobody noticed the run around in Penn station and the fact that diesel only was used. without HEP the P40 just sounds like a low idleling freeight hog anyway.

New York State is reporting that the turbo trains were stolen. Well that what the TV story was about. Alot of mad elected officals running around here yelling and say bad things about Amtrak.

I just love send my money (taxes) to these folks.
