I have a voucher that expires on 8/15,do I have to travel before that date or just redeem it?

So did I. In fact, I redeemed it for a trip the full 11 months out!

I've read (on this discussion board) of people redeeming vouchers, and then cancelling the future trip beore they took it, thus extending the life of the voucher by getting an entirely new one.
