Good morning..I track this train daily as I am leaving on sunday....was running on time...sort of...now its 5 hours late and not even to texas....

Hello again...If the 21 is late into San Antonio..does that reduce the layover there...
I assume you are continuing on westward beyond SA? Yes, it will reduce the layover and they will try to get the train out again at 5:40 AM. So there's about 7 hours of padding right there for you. There is also lots of padding in Dallas and Fort Worth as well as some between San Marcos and SAS. So if its 5 hours late now before getting the Texas, chances are good that many hours will be made up.
