WOR to SAN via Texas Eagle

I am wondering if it is worth purchasing the 4000 points I need to have enough points for a 3 zone trip from WOR to SAN or SAN to WOR, I want to take the TE CHI to LAX as I have not done it that direction and via the SWC on the return trip.

My question is, the TE trip shows up on Amtrak.com, will it show up when I call AGR to purchase the ticket?

I usually use a rail-pass, but with the points deal right now and one way it is actually close to 140 cheaper.

If it shows on Amtrak.com (not using multi-city) then AGR should book it.

Like Betty said, if you use the regular screen and input "From WOR" and "To SAN", whatever comes up AGR can book as award travel. In this case, WOR-CHI-(SAS)-LAX-SAN would indeed be 3 zones.
