While on Train 14 last thanksgiving weekend, you got the impression that you couldn't even use your cell phone at all. Was in the last coach. Weather wasn't good and people were calling about connections, etc. The train crew got really upset about cell phone use. I used mine anyway.

Hi, Traveling in August. Will be in car 1430 (north bound) and 1130 (sound bound). Roomette 9 both ways. Really doesn't matter, but I want to know what side the room is. The Sleeping car virtual tour site doesn't answer my question.

I also have stayed at the Vagabond Inn, had no problems, real close to train station and old Sacramento.

Going to Union Station in Los Angeles and have fun

The South Bound tracks are the tracks closest to the Anaheim Stadium. You will need to go underground (under the tracks) and up stairs (or a ramp) up to the North Bound Tracks. Hope this helps

Just used it on the Coast Starlight in August. Wasn't that thrilled with it. It was hard to watch (too small of the screen). Hard to find plugs to plug it in (except in the room). The headphones were terrible. Couldn't keep it around my ears. Used my own one.

I was there at Union Station when they were filming 24. My mother and I was leaving on the Coast Starlight that morning. Very interesting to watch what they were doing. I have been a fan of 24 ever since that day.
