Last meals served on the Silvers

Would like to know whether dinner is served on the southbound Star or Meteor prior to Miami, given arrival times around 6pm and 7pm respectively. Northbound, I see the Star arrives NY after 7pm but often arrives early. Is dinner offered prior to NY?

You might want to check out the thread from yesterday, Roomette meals.

There is usually no dinner meal prior to Miami. You arrive at 6pm which means that a meal, if offered, would need to be finished by all passenger (even the slow eaters) significantly before 6pm and that just wouldn't happen.

I just found the thread's title hilarious - "Last meals served on the Silvers"!

It sounded like a train that carried death row inmates at a prison to the electric chair!
