LSL #449 BOS-ALB 6/26 ????

Just arrived at ALB waiting for 49 to CHI. Bustitutions are going on for 449 to & from BOS. Anyone know what the problem is? Doesn't effect me, just curious.

Perhaps downed trees? The east coast has been having daily summer storms.

I don't know the answer, but my guess is track work by CSX or MBTA. Or as AmtrakBlue said down trees, west and central MA has been having almost daily severe storms all week or more!

They are doing bridge work raising more of them in and around the springfield station. So they are not running any trains thru the 27th east or west for ALB to BOS.
