New Milwaukee Amtrak Station

They have the new logo on there and everything. It will be done in a few years.

That's an awesome building. But I wish they would work more toward restoring the old stations instead of tearing them down and building new ones. Some of the new ones are just small metal buildings.

Well, in the case of Milwaukee (which I believe is being completely funded by state/local funds), the old station isn't really worth saving. In any event, they are basically keeping the same old building but renovating the inside and putting a new face on it. Construction is currently underway, as I just saw the place earlier today. Also had my first in-service look at the new Sturtevant station (just passing by).
