Amtrak now requires pax to board multiple trains at the same time. Didn't you read the fine print?
I can understand boarding two trains, but three? I say two because the two trains can run side by side and you can have a foot in each train and ride it like you're skiing! It's gonna hurt really really bad though if you come upon a pole between the two tracks! :)

"Rail Fan" and "Normal" have NEVER even been in the same dictionary, or for that matter, existed on the same planet........ (that would be Earth for some of us......)

I guess that it doesn't make a whole lot of difference, but in the TWO emails that I received from Amtrak today said that I would be departing EMY 9/27 at 9:10 AM (no change) and arriving CHI 9/29 at 3:30 PM (the change). I called "Julie" to confirm my reservations, and the agent stated that the EMY departure time for train 6  was 9:10 AM on 9/27.

Does anyone have the facts?
Not sure where the confusion is... On 9/27, the train does depart at 9:10 AM and gets to Chicago 20 mins earlier. It's not until October 10 that the EMY departure changes.

I guess I'm not a "quick study." :( This morning, after reading through the announcement a few times, I finally figured out what it was trying to say, and you're right---obviously.

I've revised my timetable for train 6 on 9/27, 9/28, and 9/29. Gives us a little more time in DEN.
