The new schedule change is now on Amtrak.com, but the thruway bus schedules have not yet been adjusted. Sigh. Is it that diffucult to coordinate this?

Whoa, this schedule change really screwed up the reservation I made yesterday. It now looks like this:

Amtrak now requires pax to board multiple trains at the same time. Didn't you read the fine print?
Maybe the traveler can figure this one out, double/triple points!!!???
Jim, Dave is not the God of Amtrak.
Not Amtrak ALC, only AGR! (Actually I learn alot from every poster on this site except for the Amtrak fans in South Dakota and Wyoming! )

Your knowledge is vast and I enjoy your contributions!!!

 sorry but I'd have to vote for Chuljin when it comes to the king of AGR. 35,000 RAIL POINTS this year speak volumes.

Sit down Jim, we need to talk.

... He is not the God of AGR. He just travels a lot. He's not magic, and what he does with loopholes can be done by anybody with enough time on his hands and a computer.

Thanks Rafi! I guess we will be getting up even earlier to leave from SLC!

Haven't been notified by Amtrak yet....we'll see if they call.

ALC, I don't think anyone is suggesting Dave is really an Amtrak God, magical, or is any better at Amtrak/AGR than any of us are (or can be). He just makes more use of it and thus we like to jokingly put him on a pedestal of what many of us aspire to do, live Amtrak (at least much more than we are able to do now).

Nobody is being serious here and you needn't take umbrage to anything said.

I guess that it doesn't make a whole lot of difference, but in the TWO emails that I received from Amtrak today said that I would be departing EMY 9/27 at 9:10 AM (no change) and arriving CHI 9/29 at 3:30 PM (the change). I called "Julie" to confirm my reservations, and the agent stated that the EMY departure time for train 6  was 9:10 AM on 9/27.

Does anyone have the facts?

...umbrage...
Solid word. I had to head to the dictionary for that one...
It's an area of Italy..........
I thought it was the vestibule area of a baggage car...
Can Umbrage be checked with the weapons, or do we need an act of Congress? Thanks guys, these post made me LOL    "....................'Italy'..............." hahahha
No, you're thinking of gundrage.
