One zone free, pay for second zone

I am looking at taking a two zone trip. Is it possible to use AGR points for the first zone, and purchase a ticket for the rest of the trip (isn't that far into the second zone), but still be able to purchase the same sleeper room that I am in for the AGR purchase? Please assume that I would purchase the remaining leg at the same time that I redeem my points.

Yes, and the same AGR agent can do both.
