Railroad Museum Has Terror on the Rails for Halloween

For the second year, the railroad museum in Union, Illinois is having Terror on the Rails for Halloween. They have it for 3 or 4 weekends.

If you're anywhere near Union, Illinois, try to go. All the terror your could want including a coach car with candles flickering behind darkened windows. Also there's the sleeper car with ghosts coming out of the rooms.

California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento has something similar. It's the "Spookomotive" train ride, serviced by the "Skeleton Crew".

In December, the wonderful "Polar Express Train" comes to town. We have made this a tradition for the last 3 years. All 64 trips sell out almost instantly. This year, we paid extra for seats in the gorgeous Observation Car. What fun!
