Has anyone measured the height of the space under the lower bunk in a superliner roomette? I've read that "flat" bags work best, but that doesn't tell me much. Thanks.

Possibly about 8 - 10 inches in height and approximately 12 - 14 inches wide. I know my laptop case fits under one seat perfectly with plenty of additional room. I've never tried to measure it for maximum space available though.

One of those luggage bags which is intended to be stored under the seat in front of you on-board a plane, fits quite well. And with two seats in the roomette, you can store two of them.

A laptop bag stores easily. If you are alone in the roomette, you could always use the upper bunk for storage. But either way, you can always use the luggage storage area on the lower level of the car. (I always do, except for my laptop.)
