If I am traveling on a sleeper car, can I carry on the suitcase that I would normally check, and stow it in the entryway luggage area?

Chuck

Absolutely! :)

That assumes that you're traveling on a Superliner bi-level car. The single level Viewliner sleepers don't have a luggage rack by the door, but there is a place within the room to store a moderate sized suitcase.

Depending on the size of the bag, there is limited under-seat space also.

AND

If you are traveling solo, you can use the upper bunk.

Thanks guys.

I will be on superliners. This means I can lighten my small bag as I will have access to my suitcase.
