Dick,

I am wishing you a speedy recovery. I had emergency Retina Surgery in 1996. Lived with the eye patch for 3 weeks. I had 3 tears in my left retina that were repaired by one of the best eye surgeon in Chicago, if not the US. Due to issues with my HMO it took 2 weeks to get into a specialist and there was little he could do to save my vision. I know that I cannot make political statements here but draw your own conclusions.

Hope to see you at the gathering.

Al aka Oldtimer

Thanks Kevin & Oldtimer.

I have removed the patch but still have a gas bubble

over my eye which causes my sight to be blurred.

Perhaps I should get a pirate patch as Kevin suggests!!

Have a good day everyone.

:hi: Hang in there Dick, this too Shall Pass! I remember that the Recovery was Actually Worse than the Actual Surgery when I had my Cataract and Retina Surgeries! Maybe this way you can keep an Eagle Eye on New Jersey and Amtrak!
