This is obviously going to be a few days before they get this cleaned up. What's the most likely scenario to happen here?
Let's just say I have a vested interest in this route in the near future.
Thanks for your input.
I've seen it before. Both during the day and at night. Taking the family on #2 in a few days and hope it's reasonably on time so we can see it.
Assuming everything goes to plan  , I know that 3/4 meet at Lamy,NM. Nineteen and 20 at Tuscaloosa.
How about 1/2 and 29/30?
Lap of America countdown is progressing nicely.
What's the relationship between the car number written on my ticket and the actual car number?
I noticed that all of the cars listed on OTOL are 5 digit numbers and the ones on my ticket are 4 digits. Is it the last 4 digits of the actual car #?
Less than a month away from my lap of America!!
While true, don't know if you'll have time between the scheduled arrival of the Sunset at 8:40am and the departure of the Starlight at 10:15am.
Don't let that discourage you from looking though. On a good day you can see it from 20-30 miles away if you know where to look.
Thanks to those who replied.
I don't necessarily mind what they're trying to accomplish. I just would like to have know that information before I booked my tickets.
Thanks again.
I've seen the question out there 2 or 3 times but haven't noticed a response.
When are the SAS stub changes going to take place or are they just an idea at this point?
I also have thru-sleeper reservations on #2 in late June and the thought of having to roust my family at 11pm just suuuuuckss...
