    I have roomette reservations from ALB-CHI-MRC mid May on 449 & 421. I would like to upgrade my 421 leg to a bedroom and the Amtrak site has said there's a bedroom available for past few weeks. BUT. when I call Amtrak they tell me they don't see anything available yet their website still shows...

    Forrest Gump was a genius ! Stupid is as stupid does ! Trains can't stop very easily - I was brought up right near railroad tracks with 40-50 trains per day ! Never had an issue ! Don't know what I was more scared off , a train or Dad's belt if he caught us playing on the tracks !
