I would say yes, it would enable Amtrak to have more business for the cash strapped Americans in the Slumbercoaches for an upgrade from Coach, but less expensive than a Sleeper, and more coaches, it would enable Amtrak to start more routes. In the East, in the Midwest and in the West.
