I have been their RR days in 2008. It was really nice. also Santa Fe steam locomotive 3751 will be displayed at National Train Day 2013 at Los Angeles Union Station according to the 3751's FB page.

FYI, Amtrak exhibit train will be displayed at Fullerton Railroad days on May 4th and 5th. (It's one week before the NTD) http://www.scrpa.net/scrrdays.htm

I believe the amtrak bus to BFD, stops at Metrolink Newhall station and you may catch the taxi to your home?

I know that Metrolink allow animals in carriers and I think Amtrak do the same on the short distance train such as surfliner.

Reading all your comments, I guess there's no "Quiet Car" on #14 & #11. (also no on #5 & 6?) When I was on train #6(from Omaha to SAC), a lady front of me using her celphone every 10 mins or ringing her celphone every 10 mins. Thanks God she got off the train somewhere in NE but I just hate...
